As a result, her cooking reflects the distinctive traditions of food from both South Asia and Southeast Asia. Latasha’s Malaysian-born husband is of Malaysian and Sri Lankan descent – the later also a land noted for its coconut and chilli-based curry dishes.
After 10 years of operating her highly successful and popular cafe, Latasha decided it was time to produce a specialist range of home-style pastes, condiments, relishes and dressings that people could buy and use every day at home.
Driven by passionate love of flavours, textures, colours and also a love to inspire others to experiment, create and explore. Latasha created her products to help simplify the creation of base flavours to enable anyone – whatever their age or cooking ability – to create delicious food for themselves or others.
Latasha’s Kitchen is 100% owned and operated solely by Latasha Menon & most products are also naturally suitable for vegetarians, pescatarians, vegans and coeliacs. They are also free of fillers, artificial preservatives, bulking agents, citric acid, colours and MSG.
Every product is gluten and wheat-free with a few low in FodMaps.
Their meticulous approach to roasting coffee means they are able to maintain quality and consistency through the entire process from bean to cup.
For Brew it all starts with sourcing quality green coffee beans direct from growers and producers from around the world, working collaboratively and ethically with farmers to ensure that only the finest green beans arrive at their Wangarra roasting facility. Our accredited Q-Grader specialises in selecting the finest beans at origin and building relationships with farmers and their community.
With roasting, they take the ultimate care and precision to ensure you receive the finest roasted coffee blend or single origin coffee. Our roasting facility delivers consistency and quality without compromise and we are HACCP certified.
